Young people from the Essex Children in Care Council ‘Change Makers’ group have worked on this ‘new to care’ postcard for young people that are new to care in Essex.
Feedback from have your say surveys shows those new to care have significantly worse experiences; particularly younger children's feelings about safety and emotional well-being.
Qualitative feedback shows time and time again the value that children and young people have in knowing that there are other children in similar positions to themselves. Well done Change Makers!
