If you're a care leaver in Essex, you can be part of the Children in Care Council (CiCC).
We offer a range of groups, activities and opportunities designed to help you build connections, develop independence and have your voice heard, including:
- Dinner & Chill
- Care Leaver Parents Group
- Social events and activity days
- It's My Life Festival
- Residential trips and outdoor activities
- Independence and life skills opportunities
- Creative projects and campaigns
- Opportunities to influence services and support other young people
- Meetings with senior leaders and decision-makers
- Volunteering, leadership and peer mentoring opportunities
- Celebrations and care leaver events throughout the year
