A New House for Little Mouse is a story book for young children in care which seeks to provide reassurance at difficult and confusing times. Care leavers came up with the idea of a story book and collaborated with the author, James Henry, to develop a story which explores difficult themes of grief and loss. All children in care, up to the age of 11, should receive a copy of the book. If you would like a copy or would like to find out more please email involvement@essex.gov.uk.
